The mission of attack the bridges at Toko-Ri was terrible dangerous. Brubaker knew that he could die, and his wife was scared because she could lose her husband. The fear of the death was the suspense of this story. I won’t say what happened with Brubaker, but when I finished reading the book I didn’t feel sad because these kinds of things always happen in the wars. The end of this best-seller is not happy but it shows an important message. The moral is that wars don’t solve anything. These only provoke deaths and pain.
