Hapiness

Flow is the best mental state where somebody is totally involved in an activity. People who are in the flow state don’t have problems with attention because they can focus all the energy for fulfilling their projects. In this way, they are motivated, happy, optimist and confident. In my opinion, flow is more than a mental state, it is a feeling of satisfaction at doing something.

Life satisfaction is a subjective concept of happiness. Why is it subjective? Because, people are happy for different reasons, they don’t always share the same likes and ideas. This concept depends on a variety of factors; one of the most important is the quality of life, for instance, a good job. The most important things to consider in a normal life are love, luck, health and job, to name a few. If you ask me, a true love is the best thing that you can have, because when you love to someone and at the same this person loves you, it feels like an unbroken happiness feeling.

How they have been applied or what areas of life they’ve been applied to and how.
Do you believe in this idea of happiness?

Fistable, life satisfaction sounds like a capital dream. For example, commercials are always trying to sell satisfaction and happiness with their products or services to people. So, I really don’t believe in these kinds of superficial dreams. However, I think that I have a satisfactory life when the most important things in my life are working well. This feeling is awesome, you feel very optimist and with a lot of energy for doing different activities. In respect to flow, I used to be involved in the different activities of my life; however, this year I cannot enjoy my universities subjects and their corresponding works.

What do you think have been the happiest moments of your life?

I am not sure about it. Maybe, the happiest moments of my life have been to get my first dog and the second one (you can look them at the same order on the top of this post). Concerning this year, the happiest moment was to meet my current girlfriend.

Can you think of a person that inspires you in terms of having a positive attitude?

My friends inspire me with their comments and advices; nevertheless, nobody has always a positive attitude in front the life because we always have bad experiences which are not always easy to overcome, in particular, the death of a friend.

Why do you think so many people are unhappy in their jobs?

Well…Firstable, there are a lot of lousy jobs that really suck. I´ve worked in two supermarkets, and the paid was terrible. You can spend a lot of time working eight hours per day and at the end of month you receive a shitty salary. For example, the last time that I worked in Lider Santa Amalia supermarket I had to move the trollies, which were so exhausting. I did that only for a month, in that month I just had 6 days free. Finally, I got one hundred seventeen thousand pesos. I work 25 days in a month and I only received one hundred seventeen thousand pesos, OMG! It is like five thousand for day. I wouldn’t like to know if there are little ducks’ supermarkets, maybe in these places you receive one thousand for day. (Miss: You need to know what is Universidad de los Patitos y la librería delos patitos)

Second, most people only work for money, students in particular. In my case, I worked in supermarkets because I needed money. I didn’t want to be happy doing that. I have to admit that work is not bad at all, I found so funnies workmates. If you work you can find a variety of people. Nevertheless, if you receive a bad remuneration, you probably think that working is terrible.

If you could choose any job, what job would you choose and why?

I have two options. I would like to work in a nature reserve, like a veterinarian or whatever because I would like to help animals in dangerous. The other option is totally opposite, I would like to be a business magnate like Bill Gates because I could have a lot of money. In this way, I could do a lot of things.

Why do you think you would enjoy this job?

I think that I could enjoy working in a nature reserve because I could share with animals and help them. I will be happy if animals can live free or without dangers.

Why would it be a satisfying job to do?

Because when you can share with animals and help them, you feel that you are doing something good for them. I think one of the most satisfying jobs is helping others because you feel comfortable.

Do you know anybody who has this kind of job?

No, really. Nonetheless, I have watched a lot of movies and documentaries programs about conservation and protection of endangered species.

Could a countryman make a heroic deed?

Most people tend to think that only heroes or important people could make fantastic acts for humanity. Nevertheless, I do not consider that because there are common people who always have been making good things. What’s more, they are not famous such as the main character of my book who called Egidio.

Egidio is just a common farmer; however, they could fight with dragons and giants. For example, he saved the village from a big giant that destroyed all the places as far as possible. Although people believed that the knights were the only ones able to kill a dragon, people realized that they are not enough for fulfilling this mission. As a consequence, they talked with Egidio for killing a dragon that was eating all the human beings.

Some people who are known for their goods act turns in famous heroes. When they lost the privacy of their deeds, everybody knows about it and used them like servants of the society. Then, people become dependents of these heroes. For instance, people from Ham village wanted to be rich saying to Egidio that he had not kill the dragon because it can gave them money if he let it rest in peace. On the other hands, there are anonymous people who do not receive this recognition they deserved. Firefighters, in particular, do not receive anything from the community. Because they do not turn in famous like some common people, for the reason that they just doing their work.

To conclude, I have to say that a real hero is the person who is altruistic. People who make things for turning in famous or because they like feeling admired, they just think about themselves. You should help others because they need it, this is the only reasonable and moral reason.

I had to decide between Facebook and http://e-pregrado.uahurtado.cl but I knew that some classmates could choose Facebook too. As a consequence, I decided to talk about my beautiful university web page. :)

I don’t know how to explain that the called “virtual page” is awesome and wonderful, if you know “autogestion page” you really will get crazy. The “virtual” is one of the fastest webpage in the world for that reason my university should win a Guinness World Record. In addition, you can find an extraordinary chat. I´m not joking, that chat is better than msn and Skype. My webpage is abnormal, it´s must be created by aliens because it always is working. I´ve never heard critics about it, it never keeps freezing.

I like being ironic, I really dislike my university web page. Sometimes, I find that I have three files without read, and when I read them nothing change. I hate that because something I really think that I have important files to read. In other cases is worst because you have important files and notifications to read, and these don’t appear in the page. I´d like to be a Trojan or a virus for destroying this suck system.

I try to visit it every day. I don’t remember exactly when was the first time that I surfed in this page but this could be in the summer of 2009 before that I had gone to the university. In that time, I was looking for files that I could use in the future.

Homeschooling

It is about a new kind of education which gives tools to parents for teaching their sons. This kind of teaching has been increasing in Europe and USA; moreover, it is coming to South America. Most people say they prefer this education because schools are dangerous for their children. In this way, they feel comfortable and safe about the real level of knowledge; besides, they are “the teachers” of these particular classes. What´s more, they can spend more time with them and realize what their problems are.

If you ask me, I don’t think that it is convenient. Children need to be students because they need to share with other people and work in groups. I think this kind of education is bad because it keeps in isolation children from the real world. For me, one of the best purposes of the school is creating social relations like friendship. If you teach your sons in your house, they will be isolated from the society. What happens when they grow up? They are going to have problems because they will be dependents of his parents.

I believe this information is important for our society for make a reflection about our education, I wouldn’t like to hear to someone like a minister of education saying that they won’t sort the school problems out; consequently, parents must teach their sons.
Sincerely, I dislike this kind of teaching what is called homeschooling because this could impact on my future job, I am joking. Although representatives of “homeschooling” say that this kind of education doesn’t isolate children because parents can give permission to their sons for going to the museums, concerts and parks. I don’t believe it could be possible because most parents don’t have time for doing these things.

Make a difference

The power of the people is awesome, when we can organize among us we can do a lot of things. The problem is that we are not used to listen to others. If we are united like a big team we will able to do something for sorting out the problems of the city, and then for our country. A big change needs the support of everybody, if you try making changes in the life and nobody helps you, don´t give up you can do it by yourself without problems. It will be so hard and slow, but along the time more people will be joining in your cause.

I really think if you are alone is more difficult make a difference, however, it’s not impossible. I have a dream, I would like that every dog in the street could have a home, not just a house because they need love too like kids or babies. I know this dream sounds like impossible, but we have to something right now. Government in 2009 approved a law of exterminate, most people think that they use euthanize; however, it´s not true. Euthanize is so expensive; consequently, they kill dogs and other animals with other methods which are very painful and during until twenty minutes.

I wouldn’t like to be a dog for that reason. We are responsible like society of this problem, we can finish with this problem following these recommendations:

1. Don’t buy animals, they are not products. Pet’s shops and Kennels are so cruel with them.
2. If you have a pet, you must sterilize it because you will have problems with puppies in the future, they are difficult to give away, female in particular.
3. they should be free!. Animal are like humans, they are not able to talk but they can feel emotions and pains. They have the same right to life than us.
4. If you have a pet love it.
5. Pet´s shop, kennels, zoos and the majority of the circus don’t leave animal freely. Don´t participate in their activities.

I follow this list, I visit sometimes pet´s shops for looking these sad animals. I would like to liberate them but they are used to live with humans and they are dependent of us. Humans domesticated these animals and nowadays they are not responsible with them. I hate my race, we are the most selfish, cruel and horrific animal in the world.

I usually give food to animal when I can, I learnt of this video that big problems can be sort out by us. If we do something for animals and we join together in this cause, we can finish with this cruel reality.
